As a result of Covid-19 JustEat saw their order numbers doubling, Deliveroo kept growing their business and went through IPO and UberEats kept adding more dining establishments and choices for consumers to decide for.
For nearly a year Simply Consume UK didn’t expand much and it took some time to expand to numerous cities and supply customers with a great restaurant choice. JustEat’s business model was flawless, they would bring clients to dining establishments and in return it would charge a commission cost, a repaired sign-up charge and other service charges from restaurants consisting of the alternative to rank on top of the search list within the Simply Eat website and app. By then, JustEat would deal just with restaurants that had their own fleet of motorists so JustEat didn’t have to deal with that part of the experience which was really expensive and challenging to manage.

Three years later, in 2016, we saw UberEats introducing in the UK. The brand was already popular due to its moms and dad company Uber. Growth took place quickly and rapidly UberEats was ready to combat for a piece of the marketplace share.
